Mick JaggerCUBA STANDARD — Granma reported that Rolling Stones leader Mick Jagger is in Havana for a “private visit” with one of his sons, citing a hotel employee.

The Communist Party daily suggested Jagger may be preparing a Rolling Stones concert in Cuba, as part of the band’s upcoming Latin America tour. In a recent interview, Stones lead guitarist Keith Richards revealed plans to stage a concert at the Estadio Latinoamericano in March. The driving force behind the Cuba plans is Stones bassist Darryl Jones, who appeared on stage in Havana in February with the Dead Daisies.

Jagger, 72, toured Old Havana, visited the Santa Isabel hotel in the city’s historical center, and stopped at night club/restaurant SangriLa in Playa.
