Cuba adds incentives for clean-energy investors

In 2016, Cuba launched an ambitious plan for solar investments.

Creating new incentives for the development of renewable energies, Cuba now exempts foreign investors in clean-energy projects from paying any taxes for eight years, and grants them a reduced tax rate after that.
