France funds Cuban vaccine production with €45m

CUBA STANDARD — French development agency AFD is funding production and export of Cuban vaccines with €45 million, the Instituto Finlay de Vacunas announced in a press release.

The French funds are aimed to boost Finlay’s production capacity of meningitis and pneumonia vaccines, which are also exported to Africa and other parts of the developing world.
