Joe Guidry: A perspective from Tampa

Four days in Cuba hardly makes someone an authority on the island nation that produces romantic fantasies and vitriolic politics in equal abundance. But, unlike most Americans, the 37 of us who participated in the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s trip to Cuba at least got a chance to see life firsthand in the socialist country the United States has embargoed for more than 50 years.
