Sherritt plans nickel expansion in Cuba

CUBA STANDARD — Hoping to emerge from an eight-year slump, thanks to rising demand for high-purity nickel and cobalt from electric vehicle battery manufacturers, Sherritt International Corp. announced it is planning to expand its mining operations in Cuba.
